Ascension appoints Daniel Stricker post-acute services president: 4 points

St. Louis-based Ascension has tapped Daniel Stricker to serve as president of Ascension’s newly created post-acute services division, effective July 1.

Four points:

1. Mr. Stricker most recently served as COO for Ascension Living, the senior living provider arm of Ascension.

2. He was previously vice president of strategy and business development for Ascension Living.

3. He holds a master’s degree in health administration from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo.

4. In his new role, Mr. Stricker will oversee Ascension’s diversified post-acute services, including independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing within the Ascension Living portfolio. He will also provide leadership for other post-acute services lines, including home health, hospice and palliative care.
