Arkansas system names CEO

Steven Webb has been appointed president and CEO of Batesville, Ark.-based White River Health, effective immediately.

Mr. Webb, who has served as the system’s COO since July 2024, was selected as CEO during an April 29 board meeting, according to a May 2 health system news release.

Chris Steel, MD, who has served as interim president and CEO, will support the leadership team during the transition.

White River Health operates White River Medical Center in Batesville, Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View, Ark., and a network of outpatient and primary care sites.
