Magnolia (Ark.) Regional Medical Center named Stephanie Schmittou, MSN, RN, chief operating officer, according to an Aug. 5 news release.
Ms. Schmittou was named chief nursing officer in 2017 and is now expanding her role to include COO responsibilities. These include overseeing the day-to-day operations and continuing to lead initiatives focused on patient care, efficiency and growth.
She began her career at Magnolia Regional as a registered nurse in 2001 and has since served in a number of leadership positions.
