Arkansas Children’s hospital taps CNO

Springdale-based Arkansas Children’s Northwest named Mark Ranatza, BSN, RN, chief nursing officer.

Mr. Ranatza will step into his new role in March. Most recently, he served as assistant vice president of hospital operations at New Orleans-based Manning Family Children’s, where he expanded the hospital’s behavioral health services, according to a Feb. 13 hospital news release.

He succeeds Michael Howard, who is pursuing another leadership role at Arkansas Children’s Northwest.
