CEO of Arizona’s Northwest Medical Center Steps Down

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Ariz., has announced the resignation of CEO Paul Kappelman, according to an Arizona Daily Star report.

Mr. Kappelman will leave the hospital to pursue a career opportunity in Dallas, according to the report. He started his career at NMC in 1998 as assistant CEO and became CEO for Northwest Medical Center Oro Valley (now Oro Valley Hospital) in 2003. He returned to NMC as CEO in 2007.

A national search for a new CEO is underway, according to the report.
