Dr. Childs previously served as chief administrative officer at Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth, according to a Jan. 22 LinkedIn post.
In his new role, he will oversee strategy and operations for departments including laboratory, pharmacy and diagnostic imaging.
During his tenure at PeaceHealth, Dr. Childs led financial turnaround efforts and oversaw facilities upgrades exceeding $100 million, the post said.
