Shaun Phillips, PharmD, has resigned as CEO of Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, Ariz., for a new role at another organization.
“We are grateful for his leadership and service to the hospital, our patients, and the community and wish him success in his future endeavors,” a hospital spokesperson said in a statement shared with Becker’s on June 2.
Dr. Phillips was named CEO in December 2021, according to his LinkedIn profile. He previously served as COO of Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and vice president of ambulatory operations at Bronson Healthcare in Kalamazoo, Mich.
Canyon Vista Medical Center is a 100-bed acute care hospital and part of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health.
