AnMed Health CEO John Miller to step down after 17 years

John Miller, CEO of Anderson, S.C.-based AnMed Health, plans to step down from his role in 2015, according to a report from The State.

Michael Cunningham, vice president of advancement at AnMed, said Mr. Miller hopes to assume another role with the organization, but that role is not clear. Mr. Cunningham also said it was his understanding the Mr. Miller would continue serving as CEO until his successor was named, eliminating the need for an interim leader.

Mr. Miller joined AnMed’s executive team in 1973 as an administrator. He worked his way up to the COO post before taking the reigns as CEO in 1998.
