Anderson Regional Health System names new CFO, CNO

Anderson Regional Health System in Meridian, Miss., has promoted Steven Brown from vice president of finance to CFO and Betty Young-Cryer, RN, from CNO and administrator of Anderson Regional Medical Center-South in Meridian to CNO of Anderson Regional Health System.

Mr. Brown, a certified public accountant, has worked in the accounting field for 25 years. He has served as vice president of finance at Anderson Regional Health System since September 2015. He previously served as the organization’s controller and director of accounting.

Ms. Cryer joined Anderson Regional Health System in 1975 as a staff nurse at Riley Hospital, now Anderson Regional Medical Center-South. She has held many positions with the system during her tenure, including nurse manager, acute medical clinical director and director of Riley Home Health Services.
