American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing names new chief nursing officer

Amy Stewart, MSN, RN, has been named chief nursing officer for the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing, according to an Aug. 1 news release. 

In this role, Ms. Stewart will work to advance research, initiatives and policy in support of the association's 17,000 post-acute care nurses who work in more than 5,175 facilities. 

Her role is effective immediately.
