Mr. Willis will begin his new position Jan. 3. He will take over for Ronald A. LaBorde, who will serve as vice chairman of Amedisys until his retirement April 2.
Mr. Willis has more than 25 years of experience as a financial executive, including 14 years in the healthcare industry. He most recently served as executive vice president and CFO of Franklin, Tenn.-based Capella Healthcare.
