AMA Announces Dr. Ardis Dee Hoven as President

The American Medical Association has announced that Ardis Dee Hoven, MD, will serve as the 168th president of the association.

Dr. Hoven practices at Bluegrass Care Clinic at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. She is board certified in internal medicine and infectious disease.

 

Dr. Hoven was first elected to the AMA Board of Trustees in 2005 and has since served in a number of positions on the board, including serving as chair from 2010 to 2011.
