Alfred Glover named COO of Winthrop-University Hospital: 3 things to know

Alfred Glover has been named COO of Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola, N.Y.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Glover.

1.  He joins Winthrop from Jersey City (N.J.) Medical Center, a member of Barnabas Health, where he served as interim COO and administrator for cardiovascular services.

2. Mr. Glover has also worked at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., where he was COO and CEO. Over the years, Mr. Glover also worked for Staten Island (N.Y.) University Hospital, where he was executive vice president, COO and senior vice president of network development.

3. Mr. Glover received a bachelor's degree from the Rutgers University pharmacy school in Piscataway, N.J., and a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers Graduate School of Management in Piscataway.
