Mr. Daugherty has been serving as the two hospitals’ interim CEO since October 2014.
With more than 30 years of healthcare management experience, Mr. Daugherty has served with several hospitals and health systems across the nation. In 2008, he became interim CEO of River Parishes Hospital in La Place, La., part of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals. He then served as CEO of Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte, La., also part of LifePoint Hospitals.
Prior to joining LifePoint, Mr. Daugherty served as president and CEO of Monroe (La.) Surgical Hospital and both CEO and CFO of River Region Health System in Vicksburg, Miss. He also spent 13 years with Hospital Corporation of America as CFO at three HCA hospitals.
