Alabama’s Hartselle Medical Center Eliminates CEO and CFO Positions

Tennessee-based Capella Healthcare, the company that owns Hartselle (Ala.) Medical Center, has announced that the hospital’s CEO and CFO positions are being eliminated, according to a Decatur Daily report.

Parkway Medical Center CEO Tim McGill and CFO Danny Crowe will assume the roles at both hospitals starting Sept. 20. Hartselle CEO Butch Naylor will remain with the company for a 90-day transition period, while CFO Rodney VanDonkelaar has accepted a position with a Capella-owned hospital in Jasper, Tenn.

Mr. McGill said the company is not prepared to announce if more job cuts are necessary, according to the report.
