Alabama hospital names new CEO

Springhill Medical Center in Mobile, Ala., has appointed Deanna Kyrimis as president and CEO, effective Oct. 6.

Ms. Kyrimis brings 20 years of health system strategy and operations experience to the role, according to a Sept. 18 hospital news release. She most recently served as CEO of the Arizona Asthma & Allergy Institute. 

Her prior leadership roles include vice president at Tacoma, Wash.-based Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and CEO of New Mexico Heart Institute in Albuquerque, part of Lovelace Health System.

Ms. Kyrimis succeeds Jeff St. Clair, who retired in August after 17 years as president and CEO.

Springhill Medical Center is a 270-bed hospital.
