Aetna selects Glen Chambers to head federal affairs

Hartford, Conn.-based Aetna named Glen Chambers vice president and head of federal affairs, according to a company statement.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Chambers.

1. He served as chief of staff to Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) for the last six years beginning in 2011. 

2. Mr. Chambers also served as legislative assistant for healthcare, legislative director and later chief of staff to Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kan.).

3. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.
