The region includes Glendale (Calif.) Adventist Medical Center, San Joaquin Community Hospital in Bakersfield, Calif., Simi Valley (Calif.) Hospital and White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles as well as dozens of ambulatory care sites and hundreds of primary care and specialty providers.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Wehtje.
1. In his new role, he will be responsible for the financial performance of the area’s hospitals, which account for 40 percent of Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health’s total net revenue and almost half of its physician partners, according to Adventist Health.
2. Previously, he was vice president and CFO of Adventist Health’s care delivery division as well as its partner, Chicago-based Amita Health.
3. Mr. Wehtje will begin his new position in early April.
