AdventHealth taps vice president of strategy, service lines for 2 hospitals

Brett Waress has been named vice president of strategy and service lines for AdventHealth Hendersonville (N.C.) and AdventHealth Polk in Columbus, N.C.

The hospitals are part of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth.

In his new role, Mr. Waress will oversee growth across key clinical service lines and work to expand care access at the hospitals, according to a Feb. 5 news release.

Prior to his new role, Mr. Waress served as Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital’s vice president of oncology and network operations and vice president of Tampa General Provider Network, according to his LinkedIn page.
