AdventHealth names CMO for Population Health Services Organization: 4 notes

Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth selected Jayaram Brindala, MD, to serve as vice president and CMO for the Population Health Services Organization.

Four notes:

1. Dr. Brindala previously served as senior medical director for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

2. He has also served as a senior health policy advisor for the Obama administration as well as for CASAColumbia, a New York City-based Columbia University think tank.

3. He has previous experience as medical director at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.

4. Board-certified in preventive medicine, Dr. Brindala also holds an MBA from Washington, D.C.-based Smartly Institute and a master of public health degree from Lexington-based University of Kentucky.
