Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth has appointed new chief medical officers at two of its hospitals.
Omayra Mansfield, MD, has been named vice president and CMO at AdventHealth Celebration in Kissimmee, Fla. An emergency medicine physician by training, Dr. Mansfield has been with AdventHealth for nine years, most recently serving as CMO of AdventHealth Apopka.
Max Baumgarder, DO, will succeed Dr. Mansfield as CMO of AdventHealth Apopka. He previously served as market director for TeamHealth, where he oversaw emergency medicine staffing at several AdventHealth hospitals.
