University Hospital has changed its name to University of Cincinnati Medical Center to better reflect its affiliation with the academic institution.

The hospital’s parent, University of Cincinnati Health, will not change its name.

The hospital last changed its name from University of Cincinnati Hospital to University Hospital in 1994.
