1. New Orleans-based Ochsner Health System named Tracey Moffatt, RN, CNO and vice president of quality.

2. Hutchinson (Kan.) Regional Medical Center President and CEO Kevin Miller resigned.

3. Edgewood, Ky.-based St. Elizabeth Healthcare named Garren Colvin president and CEO.

4. Luis Chanaga was named CFO and vice president of finance of GrandviewMedicalCenter in Dayton, Ohio.

5. Michael Mewhirter was named CFO of Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio.

6. Michael Blaszyk, senior executive vice president and CFO of San Francisco-based Dignity Health, will retire in December.

7. Patricia "Pidge" Gooch, RN, was named CNO of Kaiser Permanente in the Central Valley, a region including two hospitals in Modesto and Manteca, Calif.

8. Thomas DeFauw, president and CEO of McLaren Port Huron in Port Huron, Mich., plans to retire by Oct. 1.

9. Martinsburg, W. Va.-based University Healthcare named Anthony P. Zelenka president and CEO.

10. Coral Gables (Fla.) Hospital appointed Patrick Downes CEO.

11. Helena (Ark.) Regional Medical Center appointed Leah Osbahr CEO, effective July 1.

12. John Hughson is the new CEO of Alpine, Texas-based Big Bend Regional Medical Center.

13. Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health named Joy Greear president and COO of the future Novant Health Mint Hill (N.C.) Medical Center, and Mike Riley will serve as president and COO at Novant Health Huntersville (N.C.) Medical Center.

14. Jim Bogan was named interim CEO of Upper Peninsula Health System-Marquette (Mich.).

15. Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, S.C., named Rodney Van Donkelaar CFO.

16. Brian Livingston, MD, current vice president of medical affairs for Swedish Medical Center's First Hill campus in Seattle, was appointed CEO and vice president of medical affairs for Swedish Medical Center's Ballard campus, also in Seattle.

44. River Valley Health Partners in East Liverpool, Ohio hired Gary Gould as interim CEO of the health system and East Liverpool City Hospital.

45. The Erie County Medical Center Corp. appointed Richard C. Cleland as the hospital system's new CEO.

53. Jen Chahanovich will become the new president and CEO of Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihue, Hawaii on the island of Kauai and CEO of Kauai Medical Clinic.

54. Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan., named Bill Voloch president and CEO.

55. Natrona Heights, Pa.-based AlleghenyValleyHospital promoted Bill Englert, the hospital's vice president of operations and business development, to CEO.

56. Lynn Wold was named president and CEO of UnityPoint Health–St. Luke's in Sioux City, Iowa, effective June 1.

57. Jean Aycock, CEO of Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville, Ga., announced that she is resigning.

58. Six executives and directors at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, Calif., were eliminated May 18 as the facility instituted some top-level restructuring. Names were not disclosed.

59. Edgerton (Wis.) Hospital appointed Jim Schultz CEO.

60. Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, Pa., appointed Kendra Aucker president and CEO.

61. Pat Fry, president and CEO of Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health, will retire in January 2016.

62. Michael Schwab, CEO of The Portland (Ore.) Clinic, officially retired in May, but will remain at the clinic through June during the transition period.

63. Parsons, Kan.-based Labette Health selected Brian Williams as the hospital's next CEO.

64. Chad Couch, MD, a urologic surgeon who has practiced at Bristol (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center for 15 years, was named the hospital's CMO.

65. Hendersonville, N.C.-based Pardee Hospital permanently appointed David Ellis, MD, CMO.

66. Gary C. Tucker, senior vice president and COO of Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, N.Y., was named president and CEO of the hospital.

67. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia President and COO Madeline Bell will become the new CEO of the hospital July 1. 

68. Walnut Creek, Calif.-based John Muir Health was named Thomas August the system's CISO, beginning April 13.

69. Ed Banos, CEO at Upper Peninsula Health System in Marquette, Mich., will leave his position for an opportunity at UniversityHospital in San Antonio.

70. DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit named London A. Quicci COO, effective May 4.

71. Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore appointed Robert A. Kasdin to the newly created role of senior vice president and COO.

72. G. Daniel Martich, MD, Pittsburgh-based UPMC's CMIO, is leaving his position this month to join West Virginia United Health System in Morgantown as system CMO, effective June 1. 

73. Daniel Napierkowski, MD, was named the new president of Cleveland Clinic's Euclid (Ohio) Hospital, beginning May 13.

114. Jeff Robertson, CEO of Stillwater, Minn.-based Lakeview Health System announced plans to retire at the end of June. Ted Wegleitner, president of LakeviewHospital, has been selected to succeed him.

115. Mark E. Bush, CEO of Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, resigned April 21.

116. Michael Blauer, CEO of Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services' North Coast service area and Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, Ore., resigned at the end of April.

117. San Antonio-based Nix Health named Terry J. Fontenot CEO to replace exiting CEO John Strieby.

118. Rand O'Leary, chief administrative officer of PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center in Springfield, Ore., will take on head leadership responsibilities for PeaceHealth's Oregon West Network when John Hill, the network's senior vice president and CEO/chief mission officer, departs from the system May 5.

119. Kathy Clark, RN, president and CEO of Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihue, Hawaii on the island of Kauai, will retire June 30.

120. Gold Beach, Ore.-based Curry Health Network announced the appointment of Virginia "Ginny" Razo as CEO, effective May 4. Ms. Razo entered this role after serving two months as interim CEO of Tahoe Forest Hospital District in Truckee, Calif.

121. Larry Schumacher, COO of Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System, left the system. HSHS has not clarified whether Mr. Schumacher was fired or resigned.

122. University of Virginia Culpeper Hospital in Culpeper has announced the appointment of Thomas Reynolds, MD, as CMO.

123. The New York City Health and Hospitals Corp. announced the appointment of John Morley, MD, as CMO of HHC Jacobi Medical Center and HHC North Central Bronx Hospital, both located in the Bronx, N.Y.

124. Sandy Haryasz, RN, CEO of 25-bed Page (Ariz.) Hospital, part of Phoenix-based Banner Health, will retire in August after 21 years serving on the hospital's management team.

125. El Dorado, Kan.-based Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital named Patrick A. Auman, PhD, interim CEO.

126. Physicians Regional Healthcare System in Naples named Scott Lowe CEO. Mr. Lowe has been serving as the system's acting CEO since December 2014 following the departure of former CEO C. Scott Campbell. 

127. John Prout, CEO of Cincinnati-based TriHealth, is passing his title of president on to new hire Mark Clement while retaining his role as CEO.

128. Nikki Roux, RN, was appointed vice president and CNO of Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital in Humble, Texas.

129. Hackensack University Health Network, part of Hackensack (N.J.) University Health System, announced the appointment of Mark Sparta to the newly created role of executive president and chief population health officer, effective May 15.

130. Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare promoted Sally Deitch, RN, to CEO of the Sierra Providence Health Network in El Paso, Texas.

131. Carolinas HealthCare System is eliminating the position of president and COO, meaning Joe Piemont will leave the Charlotte, N.C.-based system at the end of May.
