5 years in the making, Washington hospital to transition CEO

Klickitat Valley Health, a critical access hospital in Goldendale, Wash., has named Jonathan Hatfield CEO, according to the Goldendale Sentinel

Mr. Hatfield will succeed Leslie Hiebert, who is exiting to lead Olympia, Wash.-based Rural Health Enterprise. This succession plan has been in the works for five years, the newspaper reported. Mr. Hatfield transitioned from his role as the hospital’s director of information technology and compliance to chief operating officer to prepare for Ms. Hiebert’s departure. 

The transition will take place in October.
