5 latest hospital CMO, CNO moves

The following five hospital and health system CMO and CNO moves were reported by Becker’s Hospital Review in the last week, starting with the most recent.

1. Sharon Freyer, RN, was appointed CNO of Baptist Health Paducah (Ky.) after serving as the medical center’s interim CNO for about three months.

2. Southwest Georgia Medical Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital in Cuthbert, has a new CEO and CNO: Kim Gilman, RN.

3. Gabriel Hauser, MD, a pediatric intensivist, was named CMO of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and vice chair of pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine, both in Philadelphia.

4. Kern Low, MD, is now the CMO of Canon City, Colo.-based St. Thomas More Hospital.

5. Memorial Hermann Katy (Texas) Hospital named Linda Stephens as CNO.
