Dr. Gabriel Hauser named CMO of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children

Gabriel Hauser, MD, a pediatric intensivist, is now CMO of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and vice chair of pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine, both in Philadelphia.

Dr. Hauser was previously a professor of pediatrics, pharmacology and physiology at Georgetown University School of Medicine and vice chairman of the department of pediatrics in Washington, D.C. He also wore several hats at Georgetown University Children’s Medical Center, including medical director of pediatric inpatient services, chief of the division of pediatric critical care and pulmonary medicine, and director of the pediatric intensive care unit.

Dr. Hauser, who is board-certified in pediatric critical care medicine, earned his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel-Aviv, Israel. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the College of Critical Care Medicine and has received multiple teaching awards.
