3 things to know about North Okaloosa Medical Center’s new CEO

North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, Fla., has named Ronnie Daves CEO, according to a Crestview News Bulletin report.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Daves.

1. Mr. Daves’ appointment comes about a month after David Fuller resigned as CEO.

2. Mr. Daves comes to NOMC from Carolinas Hospital System-Marion, a 124-bed hospital in Mullins, S.C., where he has served as CEO since 2013.

3. During Mr. Daves’ tenure, Marion began a hospitalist program supported by all community physicians, leading to more than a 10 percent growth in admissions, according to the report. His recruitment efforts added six physicians to the medical staff as well as contract physicians for the emergency department and hospitalist department.
