3 Duke LifePoint hospitals expand market finance team

Three Duke LifePoint Hospitals are expanding their market financial leadership team to strengthen collaboration, financial stewardship and operational support across the regions they serve.

The hospitals are Sylva, N.C.-based Harris Regional Hospital, Clyde, N.C.-based Haywood Regional Medical Center, and Bryson City, N.C.-based Swain Community Hospital, according to a July 14 news release.

Under the expanded structure, Amanda Motley will serve as market CFO and Jason Godfrey will serve as market senior financial officer for the hospitals.

Prior to her new role, Ms. Motley served as CFO of Haywood Regional Medical Center. She has more than eight years of healthcare financial leadership experience at Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health.

Mr. Godfrey has served in various finance and decision support roles for 16 years at the Harris, Haywood and Swain hospitals. Prior to his new role, he served as market director of finance for the three facilities.
