Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District in Brawley, Calif., has appointed Daniel W. Smith as CFO, according to a Tribune Weekly Chronicle report.
Most recently, Mr. Smith served as CFO and district compliance officer for Samaritan Healthcare in Lake Moses, Wash. Throughout his career, Mr. Smith has spent 21 years at the CFO level for various healthcare systems and hospitals.
His appointment is effective this month.
