2 AdventHealth hospitals tap chief medical officer

Nicholas Wells, MD, was named chief medical officer at two facilities: Calhoun, Ga.-based AdventHealth Gordon and Chatsworth, Ga.-based AdventHealth Murray.

Dr. Wells steps into his new role Nov. 10. He most recently served in leadership at Erlanger East Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Erlanger, both in Chattanooga, Tenn., according to an Oct. 15 system news release.

“I am excited to join AdventHealth because its mission and values align closely with my own. I have spent most of my career in military medicine where purpose, service and teamwork were central to everything we did,” Dr. Wells said in the release.
