11 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

The moves are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Glenwood Springs, Colo.-based Valley View Hospital CEO Gary Brewer will retire this summer.

2. Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center in Hallock, Minn., named Everett Butler interim CEO.

3. Matthew Gross, CEO of Norwalk, Ohio-based Fisher-Titus Health system, is retiring March 1.

4. Littleton, N.H.-based North Country Healthcare appointed Thomas Mee, BSN, RN, as CEO, effective March 4.

5. Manassas, Va.-based Novant Health UVA Health System appointed Al Pilong, Jr., senior vice president and CEO, effective April 1.

6. Wakefield, R.I.-based South County Health named Aaron Robinson president and CEO, effective April 1.

7. Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Children's Hospital appointed Tim Robinson CEO, effective July 1.

8. Rochelle (Ill.) Community Hospital tapped Daniel Schwanke to serve as interim CEO, effective Feb. 4.

9. Debbie Simon, BSN, CEO of Peoria-based UnityPoint Health in Central Illinois, is retiring June 30.

10. Nacogdoches (Texas) Memorial Hospital appointed Gary Stokes interim CEO.

11. John Strange, president and CEO of Duluth, Minn.-based St. Luke's, retired, effective Feb. 6.
