Todd Keating was appointed CFO of Worcester, Mass.-based UMass Memorial Health Care in January 1999, shortly after it was created from the 1998 merger of Memorial Health System and the University of Massachusetts Hospital System.
The academic medical center and safety-net hospital brought in $2.2 billion in operating revenue in fiscal year 2012. Its "Baa1" rating on $283 million of debt was affirmed by Moody's Investors Service this month, noting the system's 19 percent debt-to-revenue ratio.
Mr. Keating held financial leadership roles in a few Connecticut hospitals, including Windham Hospital in Willimantic and Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London. He earned his bachelor's degree from Tufts University and his MBA from Duke University.
