Ms. Brody first joined Bayfront in 1987 as COO. Prior to joining Bayfront, she served as the vice president of support services and vice president of patient care management at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, N.C.
Bayfront Medical Center has received state and national recognition while Ms. Brody has been in the C-suite. Florida Medical Business newspaper named Bayfront the best run hospital in Tampa Bay and Thomson Reuters has named it one of the nation’s top 100 hospitals. Working Mother has named the hospital one of the 100 best companies for working mothers nine times.
Under Ms. Brody’s leadership, Bayfront Health System established Bayfront Physician Associates, an employed physician group. “We’ve had a very fragmented healthcare delivery system in America forever. The more pieces we can put together, the better off we’ll be,” Ms. Brody told the Tampa Bay Business Journal last year in reference to the physician group.
Ms. Brody has received the American College of Healthcare Executives Robert Hudgens Memorial Award in recognition for her outstanding achievements early in her career.
