The Louisville, Ky.-based ZirMed will establish a “healthcare analytics center of excellence” that will support client growth and ZirMed’s predictive analytics-based revenue cycle management and population health software, according to the news release. The center will also host research and development for ZirMed’s predictive modeling and data mining capabilities, according to a news release.
ZirMed said it chose to expand in Chicago because of the accessibility to nearby health and human capital resources such as Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois and DePaul University, all in Chicago. The company also serves a number of local clients, including Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Rush University Medical Center, both in Chicago, and Elmhurst (Ill.) Memorial Hospital, according to a news release.
