A new infographic released by HealthBizDecoded using data pulled from a Bloomberg report shows the highest adoption rates for both electronic health records and e-prescribing to be clustered in the upper Midwest region.
Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota all boast EHR adoption rates over 60 percent, well above the national average of 40 percent, according to the infographic.
The percentage of physicians who use e-prescribing technology tops 70 percent in Iowa and Minnesota, with rates above 60 percent in Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota, again above the national average of 49 percent, according to the infographic.
