Mercury Healthcare, which uses data and insights to help health systems communicate with patients, will join WebMD Provider, a physician engagement and clinical education business, according to a June 29 press release. The aim of the partnership is to use data, content, technology and services to transform how health systems and payors engage their patients and members.
“The addition of Mercury Healthcare accelerates our mission to inform every decision point along the patient’s journey, from discovery to recovery,” said Ann Bilyew, health and group general manager of WebMD Provider Services.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
