By offering the free datasets, the healthcare data services company said it aims to “enabl[e] analysis and insights into the health insurance market.”
The company’s provider-network data, which represents hundreds of millions of plan-provider relationships, provides information on which physicians and facilities participate in specific networks, according to a news release. Vericred said its formulary datasets show which drugs are covered by which plans as well as their tier level and restrictions.
Vericred is working with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation on this initiative.
