VA migrates digital surgical consent platform to Microsoft’s cloud

Taylor Healthcare has centralized its iMedConsent platform to the Department of Veteran Affairs’ enterprise cloud system.

VA hospitals had previously been using iMedConsent independently, Taylor Healthcare said in a July 6 news release. This deal to migrate the platform to the VA’s Microsoft Azure cloud will centralize the system to improve security and eliminate redundant hardware.

IMedConsent is a documentation system that digitizes patient consent before surgical procedures.
