Des Moines, Iowa-based UnityPoint Health has partnered with utilization management company AppriseMD, to improve physician advisor services.
AppriseMD allows licensed, board-certified physicians to provide support for utilization management processes at hospitals, according to a July 12 press release shared with Becker's.
The new partnership will expand physician advisor services throughout UnityPoint Health's 20 regional hospitals across Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin.
