The radiologist accessed the patient data through NRAD’s billing system, which included information such as names, addresses, birth dates, Social Security numbers, health insurance information, diagnoses and procedure codes, according to the report.
NRAD does not believe the information was disclosed to outside parties but encourages patients to contact credit bureaus to submit fraud alerts, according to the report.
