UMass Lowell launches medical device, innovation incubator

University of Massachusetts Lowell has opened the doors to a new business incubator geared toward medical device and technology startups, according to a Boston Business Journal report.

UMass Lowell's incubator, called the Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center (M2D2) join the Wannalancit Business Center, an existing medical device incubator in Lowell, Mass.

The incubator space totals 14,000-square-feet, according to the M2D2 website.
