Under the contract, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland will deploy 300-plus interactive bedside touchscreen devices and patient televisions from Oneview Healthcare across the facility. UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland will also implement the technology at an outpatient building currently under construction.

The Oneview Healthcare solutions comprise digital whiteboards, education resources, meal ordering and streaming services to improve patient experience, according to the company.

The contract with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland mirrors the go-live Oneview Healthcare completed at San Francisco-based UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay in 2015.

“This project will help us expand the communication and entertainment offerings for our Oakland locations, and standardize across UCSF Health,” said Cathy Weber, clinical applications project manager at UCSF Medical Center.
