Law firm McCuneWright has filed the class action complaint against UCLA Health System, UCLA Medical Sciences and The Regents of the University of California. The complaint was filed July 29 behalf of Miguel Ortiz and “all others similarly situated.”
The lawsuit alleges the defendants knew the information involved in the breach was a likely target for a cyberattack and failed to take the proper protective actions.
