U Miami, Children's Health Fund Expand Reach With Mobile Telemedicine Clinics

A new partnership between the University of Miami's Children's Health Fund and Verizon Wireless will equip Children's Health Fund mobile health clinics with telemedicine technology.

The equipment will provide real-time access to University of Miami clinicians and will improve care for patients at the mobile clinics, according to a news release.

Children's Health Fund mobile clinics reach more than 15,000 low-income and uninsured patients across the country.
