Toshiba Medical leases space near Johns Hopkins Hospital for imaging research

In April, Toshiba Medical Research Institute USA will move into a 4,000-square-foot space in a research building near Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Hospital, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Toshiba has leased the space, which is located at 1812 Ashland Avenue, for 10 years. The 170,000-square-foot research building was developed by the Forest City-New East Baltimore Partnership and opened in November 2016.

Toshiba Medical plans to use the space as a medical imaging research lab.
