Top 9 industries for tech pay: Where healthcare ranks

Technology professionals in healthcare have experienced a 4.7% drop in salary since 2023, but their pay still ranks above some other industries, career marketplace Dice reported.

Here are the average annual salaries for technology workers by industry, according to a Jan. 7 report that surveyed 2,835 Dice job seekers and website visitors:

1. Consulting: $134,472

2. Software: $129,102

3. Bank/finance: $128,751

4. Manufacturing: $119,282

5. Government (not including education): $113,191

6. Healthcare: $112,055

7. IT: $107,434

8. Other: $98,239

9. Education: $76,282
