Terrebonne General Medical Center selects Epic EHR

Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma, La., plans to implement Epic’s EHR and has received $20 million in bonds to help with the overhaul, reports Houma Today.

Diane Yeates, COO of Terrebonne General, said in the report the hospital is updating its outdated system to Epic to comply with government reporting requirements.

The bonds were issued in multiple series and have a 15-year maturation period, according to the report.
