TELUS Health Acquires EMR Vendor Med Access

TELUS Health has acquired electronic medical record vendor Med Access, which currently provides services to 2,000 physicians in Canada.

The acquisition brings TELUS Health's Canadian presence to more than 12,500 physicians served and will support more than 45 million patient interactions every year.

After the acquisition, TELUS Health will integrate Med Access' physician referral platform into all of its EMR services.

"They understand and support our vision to keep our customers' interests front and center at all times."
