Telemedicine company Third Eye Health raises $1M+

Chicago-based Third Eye Health has raised more than $1 million after expanding its customer base to include nursing homes in addition to hospitals and long-term care facilities according to a MedCity News report. The telemedicine company provides a private, secure platform to conduct real-time consultations.

TLSG, an investment advisory and consulting firm, made the investment in the company.

The platform allows users to share video, audio and other data with tools such as smart glasses and other connected devices. Third Eye Health, which was established in 2014, will use the funds to "ramp up sales and marketing and to enhance our technology offering," Founder and CEO Daniel Herbstman said to MedCity News.
