Teladoc comes in No. 5, having raised a collective $245 million. American Well takes the No. 7 spot, having raised $141 million.

Though those numbers still fall far behind investment totals for Uber and Lyft, which take the top two spots at $7.8 billion and $1 billion, respectively, Accenture projects a significant growth in on-demand health services, reports Forbes. In 2014, investment in on-demand health was $200 million, and it is expected to reach $1 billion in 2017, according to the report.

“This provides an optimistic outlook for telehealth platforms and other on-demand startups, reflecting the increasing value placed on engagement, accessibility and ease of use by the modern patient,” Brian Kalis, managing director of digital health at Accenture, told Forbes.
